The removed usage of a patch seems correct, because with that patch rejection is observed. After looking at the patch and current situation at upstream, it seems harmless to just not even apply it. As reported by ulm, this would previously only fire on the else branch if it's a new install. I'm not sure why I did that, I must've changed my mind partway through because it clearly had that behaviour. Signed-off-by: Sam James
